Aviemore Stag Day Mini Highland Games
When it comes to things that are really Scottish you are talking about three things. Irn-Bru, Billy Connolly and the Highland Games. Well now you and your stag group get to take part in your very own mini version of the Highland Games. Who out of your stag group will be crowned the winner of the Highland Games? Come to Aviemore and find out!
The Highland Games really is a fantastic way to have a great time on your stag weekend. Here you get to prove that your clan is the best out of all the clans in the land. And of course there will be that one guy in your clan who is the ultimate, the manliest of men and who will be the ultimate winner of the Highland Games. One way to make this even more fun is for all you guys to get matching kilts, put on some face paint and really get into the spirit. Now if that is a little too much for you then you can just wear whatever you guys want.
Your clan will have to take part in different events. You can cheer each other on to make sure that you all do well…… or you can take the usual stag group route and make fun of and try to put each other off. In all you will just be having a great time. There are numerous events that you will take part in and here are the major highlights that will make up your Highland Games experience.
The caber toss or if you prefer the more dirtier sounding tossing the caber. This is a great way to see who is the strongest of your group, but brute strength is not always the way to win this. You see as well as the length of your caber…… I mean how far you can throw your caber you will be judged on how smooth the throw is and if you can rotate the caber 180 degrees. The shot putt is a classic Highland Games event and one that can also be used as a mini competition where the guy who throws it the shortest has to do a dare or something like that. After you have taken part in all of the events it’s time for the way that all real Highland Games end and that is with the tug of war! Will your clan fight another clan? Or will you split your clan in two and then fight it out? Either way you are in for a great time.
You are looking at around an hour to two hours for the whole Highland Games experience. You need to have a minimum of 8 people in your clan to make a booking here. Due to the fact you are going to be throwing some heavy stuff. Anyone who has clearly had a few to many drinks will not be able to take part.
